Based out of Cooper Landing, Five Dogs Fishing is owned and operated by Adam and Danette Snyder. They offer memorable trips along one of the finest fisheries in Alaska – the Kenai River.

Your guide, Adam, is an expert at navigating these waters. He specializes in drift boat trips along the Upper Kenai, employing a variety of techniques to put you on that bite. He offers 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden, Salmon, Whitefish, and Arctic Char, depending on the season and conditions on the day.

The boat you’ll be fishing from is a 21’ Riverwolf that can fit a maximum of 5 anglers. The rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price but you’ll need to obtain your Alaska fishing licenses prior to the trip.

Adam is devoted to sustainable fishing and keeping the Kenai River teeming with fish. You’ll be able to keep Sockeye and Coho Salmon within limits, however, most other fish such as Trout, Dolly Varden, and Char, will be released back into the water.
