Five Dogs Fishing
Based out of Cooper Landing, Five Dogs Fishing is owned and operated by Adam and Danette Snyder. They offer memorable trips along one of the finest fisheries in Alaska – the Kenai River.
Your guide is an expert at navigating these waters, who specializes in drift boat trips along the Upper Kenai, employing a variety of techniques to put you on that bite. He offers 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden, Salmon, Whitefish, and Arctic Char, depending on the season and conditions on the day.
The boat you'll be fishing from is a 20 foot drift boat that can fit a maximum of 5 anglers. The rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price but you'll need to obtain your Alaska fishing licenses prior to the trip.
We are devoted to sustainable fishing and keeping the Kenai River teeming with fish. You'll be able to keep Sockeye and Coho Salmon within limits, however, most other fish such as Trout, Dolly Varden, and Char, will be released back into the water.
Kids are allowed to join in on the adventure, however, the minimum age for Salmon fishing is 11. Hop on board with Five Dogs Fishing and enjoy some of the most exhilarating fishing Alaska has on offer.
Once your booking through Fishing Booker is accepted and your balance paid we will send you a confirmation letter via email with specific details for your trip 30 days prior to your trip. Please provide your email address for the confirmation letter.

My husband and I had the best time fishing the Kenai River!!Our guide, Dallin, was the BEST; he was helpful and took his time to make we caught fish and had a great time! We are planning a trip next year!
A truly classy outfit. Equipment was top notch. Ron was great to hang out with. (Helpful hint: Ron love M&M's) Even though the fish weren't biting, we valued the teaching experience and Ron's knowledge. To testify on a great company is how well the employees speak of the owners. Ron had nothing but great things to say about Adam and Dania.

Thanks so much for choosing us! Have fun on the rest of your trip. So sorry Fishing Booker sent you to the wrong boat ramp, they are challenging to deal with sorry.
Great time! Caught trout & loved the river! Jim

So glad you enjoyed the trip!

Had a great day was told it was going be slow but still got on a good number of fish I think 10 or 12 total all dolly's and Rainbows (what we wanted). Jordan was extremely patient even with our less than stellar casting he still put us in good positions to catch fish. Overall can't recommend enough

Capt. Adam started guiding along the stunning Kenai River in 2001, when he was only 18 years old. Since then, he's gotten to know these waters well, specializing in drifting the Upper Kenai. He looks forward to helping his customers have memorable trips and makes sure to conduct his business in a responsible, sustainable fashion so that there's fish to catch in the Kenai for years to come.
