Grant Anderson specializes in fishing the waters around Cooper Landing and invites you along for a trip to remember.
Here you'll have access to back country waters, including a few honey holes that only the locals can clue you in on.
Around here it's common to go fly fishing, and that's exactly what you'll do. Grant will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Arctic Char, Dolly Varden, Grayling , Coho Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, and who knows what else!
You're welcome to have any fish within size and bag limits. Now that's a fresh meal! You're welcome to bring a group as large as 6 on this guided experience. You'll be fishing without a boat, so expect to make your way on foot at least part of the time and come dressed for current weather conditions.
Don't hesitate to send Grant a message below with any questions you have, including where to meet on the day of your trip.
Your fishing license for the day is not included, so members of your group may need to buy one . You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. You're encouraged to dress in layers and the proper footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and bottled water in any weather conditions.
Ready to have the whole family unplug? Then you'll be glad to know that kids are more than welcome. Remember to ask if child-sized life vests are available; otherwise, you'll have to bring your own.
And you're all set! Get in touch with Alaska Fly Fishing Tours below and start planning your trip today.
