We had an amazing time with Captain John Silver! He knew exactly where to take to find the big fish! He asked us what we were looking for in terms of fish, considered that everyone wanted something different. One wanted to fish for dinner, one for crabs (teenager) bc it’s so hands on and myself, I wanted “big fish” and we got ‘em! His 1st mate was amazing too! He really knew what he as doing. As soon as anything broke, he pulled out another pole that was all ready to go! When the Captain was busy, his 1st mate took over. They worked very well together and were very easy to get along with. Don’t forget to bring your own food and beverages!! If I could suggest anything to improve the experience, a cooler with a dozen (or so) assorted beverages, especially if it’s a small group. On a scale of 5 star’s, they get a FIVE plus one for each fish we caught!

Capt John and his mate Birch, were the best! Very friendly and knowledgeable.  They kept my boys engaged whenever they could which made the trip fun! The 6am trip is a fantastic option on these hot and humid 90 degree July days! The boat was well shaded and plenty of room for the four of us and then some!  We brought home 52 blue crab, 1 spanish mackerel,  1 blue fish, and at least 6 pounds of shrimp! A feast for our extended family of 11 waiting for us back at the rental house!

What an amazing trip. We wanted something short and interactive for my 5 year old son, and 2 hr shrimping and crabbing was perfect. My favorite part was when we pulled up the shrimping nets and got to see all the different fish as we sorted out the shrimp. My son loved every minute of the trip and was fully entertained. We left with plenty of shrimp and crabs for a massive shrimp and crab boil. We actually had to freeze half the shrimp and pick have the crabs we had so much. The amount of shrimp and crab practically paid for the trip. Highly recommended.

My wife and kids went on the two hour crabbing trip.  At $350, this trip is a steal if you like crab.  They brought back a full bushel of nice size blue crabs.  A bushel of blue crabs at market price is $300 to $400.  The kids had a blast on the trip.  It was informative and fun.  We had the crabs steamed at a seafood shop and picked them all afternoon.  It was a great day and great bargain considering how much fun it was and how many crabs we took with us.  Would definitely book it again.

We took our family of 5 on this crabbing charter today. Our 3 boys range in age from 7-14. This was everyone’s favorite part of our trip so far. There was constant action to keep the kids engaged. The boat was spotless and in great condition. The captain was fantastic and a great teacher as well. We really can’t say enough great things and will encourage others to do this charter as well! Thanks for a great day on the water Captain!
