Bad Intentions Fishing Charters welcomes you aboard for a fun day of fishing and enjoying beautiful coastal Georgia. Join them to make some unforgettable memories that will make you come back time and time again. This is all inshore fishing where you will be in the bays and rivers around beautiful Savannah. The species you will have a chance to target are redfish, trout, sheepshead, black drum, flounder, Jack Crevalle (seasonal), and more! (We do not target snapper, grouper, mahi, cobia as those are open ocean species which are targeted by captains who do offshore fishing)

You’ll be fishing aboard a 19’ Carolina skiff, the ideal vessel to tackle Georgia’s inshore waters. It can take up to 4 anglers fishing and has all the necessary electronics to help you find the fish. The boat also has a livewell to keep the bait fresh, and is fitted with a trolling motor for a quiet approach.

In the spirit of conservation, Capt Marcus has implemented his own boat limits which are more strict than those imposed by GADNR. These limits will be enforced on charters to help in preserving Georgia’s fishery for years to come.
The limits are as follows:

Redfish – 3 per person
Speckled Trout – 10 per person; All Trout over 20" will be released
Sheepshead – 10 per person
Flounder – 5 per person
Black Drum – 5 per person

The captain will provide all the gear necessary for you to target the desired species. Fishing licenses are also included, as well as fish cleaning services at the end of the charter. You only need to bring your food and drinks. Beer and wine coolers are allowed in cans, with no glass and no hard liquor.

Feel free to bring your children along to enjoy the fun. Capt. Marcus offers bottom fishing trips geared towards younger children, where he hopes to provide steady action to keep them smiling and entertained. Please contact the captain for rates on these particular trips.

Our experience with Captain Marcus was wonderful! He was very pleasant and engaging during the entire trip. He has a vast knowledge of the area, the fish, and how to catch them. He was very patient with us whenever we got our lines hung up or didn't understand exactly how he wanted us to fish the bait. We never had any idle time; every time we broke off a line or needed new bait, he was right on top of it. He took time to understand what we wanted out of our trip and made it happen. Our trip was well worth the money we spent, and we will definitely book with him in the future.

Great Fishing Trip!

3 Hour Trip – Inshore (AM) on July 17, 2025 • 3 adults

Capt. Marcus was a great fishing guide! Our party included me, my son, and my 14 year old grandson. He kept our lines baited and quickly replaced tackle as needed. He also moved to three different fishing spots attempting to keep us catching fish. For mid July we did pretty good. Our catch included Red Fish, Black Drum, Sea Bass, and Sheepshead. Of course there had to be some Toadfish too! We all had a great time and created some great memories! I’m sure some great fish tales will come out as well. I highly recommend Capt. Marcus and “Bad Intentions”!!

Great Trip!!!

Our fishing trip with Captain Marcus was absolutely awesome from the moment we booked the the trip. He stayed in constant communication with us about about our trip and we booked 3+ months in advance. Captain Marcus knew all the right spots for us to catch our limits. He kept our hooks baited and immediately threw our keepers in the live well so we could get back to fishing as soon as possible. When a spot didn't produce, we moved to the next spot quickly. Marcus is the REAL DEAL

This young man of 25 y/o has found his purpose! My father and I travelled from Jackson, MS and Boston, MA to Savannah for a fun filled weekend and this was sooo much fun! From check-in's pre-fishing (just to monitor weather conditions), to recommendations to start the day a little earlier (6a to avoid major heat and boat traffic), to being very intentional finding hotspots for fish-Marcus was a great guide! He even cleaned and offered to fillet our catches of the day! He was informative to all my random questions during our trip (I ask a lot of questions lol) and had a great balance of ridin' on the cool waters and stoppin' to catch somethin'!
