We recently had the pleasure of fishing with Zach, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Zach’s deep knowledge of the local waters and his exceptional skills made the day truly memorable. He was incredibly patient and attentive, ensuring that everyone on the boat, regardless of experience level, had a fantastic time.

Despite some very tough weather conditions, we had an amazing trip.  A couple days before we had a weather event bringing in a heat index of 110 deg. and water like chocolate milk.  We took a relaxing 45 min cruise through the backwaters to find some cleaner water.  Within five minutes of arriving at our spot, my wife (new fisher) had already caught our first flounder.  We proceeded to catch 50+ more fish after that and missed 2x that amount of bites.  In addition to the flounder, we caught sheepshead, Seabass, Speckled trout, pig fish, croaker, whiting, pin fish, blue fish and some ugly fat toad fish that I had never seen before.  The whole family, including my teenaged daughter and son were all on fish more or less all day long.  Being open to catching multiple types of fish and techniques will definitely improve your odds of success, especially with conditions like ours.  Zach had a great boat and all the bait and tackle we needed for this type of fishing.  What made it especially fun was that the gear was on the lighter side, meaning we had lots of great fish fights.  This is not some boring trolling trip where the boat drags your fish through the water so it’s nearly dead by the time it gets to the boat- this is a much more interactive and engaging experience.  Zach has infinite patience with newer fisherman and children (and with the seasoned vets too), so if you are looking for a family trip where everybody can have a blast regardless of your experience level, Captain Zach is for you!

Had a great time with Captian Zach. He did amazing with helping me show my children the love of angling even though they were being unruly during most of the outing. We picked a terrible day to fish and Captian Zach still put us on the money with some fun times and even a few sharks. I will definitely be booking with captian Zach again in the future and I would encourage anyone to do the same, especially if you have littles who you want to introduce to angling and the ocean.

We went for a 6 hour charter and man he put us on the fish for sure!!!!! He is extremely knowledgeable and has the patience of a saint and of course a quick whitty comeback. We’ve been on several different fishing charters and types over the years and we’re all in agreement that hands down this was the best fishing trip we’ve ever had. If you want to fish look no further than here, you won’t be disappointed and you sure won’t find better.

  Captain Zach put us right on the fish. His knowledge and experience of the area are great. From the moment the first bait hit the water we were catching fish. He was very much helpful with showing and explaining techniques used for the species we were trying to catch.

  He told us stories and entertained us, creating a great atmospher. All while keeping up with his duties to help us go home with some fish.
