4 hour trip on September 23, 2024 • 4 adults • 2 childrenSurprised our 11 and 13 year old boys with a fishing excursion on Lake Eerie w Capt Woody. The lake was rough due to the NW winds and the rain from the night before but it was the only opportunity we had to go out before heading back to NJ. Woody made the best of it and had us catching fish despite the less than perfect circumstances. There was some down time as we cruised the coast but Woody was a great conversationalist and just as knowledgeable about Cleveland as he is about fishing. Looking forward to our next visit so we can fish with him again!

4 hour trip on July 23, 2023 • 2 adults • 1 childCaptain Woody gave me and my grandson an amazing experience. I’ve lived in Pittsburgh for 33 years and had never gone walleye fishing on Lake Erie. It was on my bucket list of things to do before I retire. Captain Woody made this an amazing experience. He coached us on technique and laid out an amazing spread on planers and deep drops and we limited out in 2 hours. Captain Woody has the passion and experience to make your charter fishing for walleye on Lake Erie an amazing day. I highly recommend him and can’t wait to fish with him again.

4 hour trip on September 21, 2024 • 4 adultsCapt Woody is a total pro. He is knowledgeable, helpful, and fun to fish with. Really comfortable well maintained boat that rides real nice. We caught a three man limit of Walleyes. Good sizes too. We only had maybe two or three short fish. I recommend Capt Woody with no hesitancy!

4 hour trip on May 18, 2023 • 4 adultsCaptain Woody had us on some dandy walleyes in a very tough bite. Woody kept working to make this trip very memorable. Very knowledgeable, great equipment, would definitely recommend.

4 hour trip on July 15, 2026 • 2 adultsWoody greeted us in the parking lot and took us to the boat. He was friendly and confident and put my granddaughter at ease. Since the lake was a little rough he stayed near shore. After a short ride he began to set lines and when the second line went in the water we had our first fish. In less than an hour we had 8 fish. The lake got the better of our stomachs and we decided to cut the trip short, but we both had a great time on our first charter. I definitely feel that Woody Richmond is knowledgeable of the lake and fish and how to adjust his trip to make it great for his customers.
