Capt Pete also runs Connecticuts only premier night fishing trip , where you will head into the dark in hunt for the largest trophy bass . Its a one of a kind experience for the true thrill seeker !
Growing up his whole life on the water has given Captain Pete the opportunity to create a connection to the local area in a way only a few get to experience. Sharing his passion for the outdoors and the ecosystem around the area is something he truly loves to pass on, but he doesn't want to forget to hook into some beautiful fish and have fun along the way!
Your trip will take place on a new Robalo 246 sky deck bay boat that allows you to cast 360 degrees with no obstacles and venture into a foot of water for onshore blitzes. However, it's also large and powerful enough to get offshore when the time calls for it! The boat can safely take up to 2 guests (although exceptions for up too 4 anglers will be made based on angler skill levels and weather ) anglers will be able to fish with plenty of room on wide obstacle free top decks at bow and stern..
Be it fly or spinning, the gear you'll use is top-of-the-line and the most recent models out on the market. Captain Pete believes that fishing with high-quality products makes for an overall great experience, as well as shows you the limits you can push with new technology.
Some things to note before you come aboard – all Striped Bass fishing is CATCH AND RELEASE. we recommend Polarized sunglasses, A thick outer layer or jacket (even in late summer the nights can get cold on the water) a good pair of shoes or sandles , Other than that, just bring your fishing licenses and something to eat, everything else will be taken care of by the crew.

A sucsess it was! We caught several stripped bass and my son was able to catch and reel in one himself! Captain Petes’s expertise ,his great attitude and patience with my son really made us feel at home on his beautifuly equipped boat. He knew right where to go to het us on some trophies ! We will absolutely be booking another trip in the near future. Thank you again for making this an unforgettable night!

4 hour Half Day on May 19, 2026 • 2 adultsWe had a great trip with Capt Pete. I booked a 4hr trip for my 14 year-old son and I. It was scheduled for 4-8 PM. Capt. Pete was watching the weather and bite reports in the week leading up to our trip. He recognized that the fish were biting more after dark and suggested that we push our departure to 7 PM…if I was willing. We wanted the best opportunity to catch some big fish and were fortunately flexible enough to take his recommendation. He could have just as easily left it as a 4pm trip and we may not have caught a thing. Instead, we labded several large stripers, including one that measured 44” and was over 40lbs. His new boat made the trip enjoyable as well. There was some pretty good chop and winds early on. Not a drop of water came over the bow. So we were dry and comfortable to whole rine. Pretty cool lighting package and sound system for our late-night trip too. Capt. Pete was personable, very knowledgeable of the waters around that area, and gave us the best opportunity to land some big fish…with great success. Highly recommend Capt Pete and Rising Tide!

5 Hour Trip – Big Bass Night Trip on August 22, 2026 • 2 adultscaptain pete is a outstanding guy catching when fishing is never a sure thing of course but captain pete puts you on the fish the drive this man has to get u a fish is unbelievable!! our trip the grind was real we lost 2 monsters but we also caught 2 fish one slot and one above slot i would 100% recommend this trip. pete goes above and beyond truly 🙏 a blessing

5 Hour Trip – Big Bass Night Trip on September 12, 2025 • 1 adultCaptain Pete delivered a great trip! Blues at dusk, a couple of bonus giant weakfish at sunset, and the rest of the night chasing big bass…. The bass (to 39 inches with a bigger one lost well into a nice fight) alone made the trip, everything else was frosting. Great boat and gear, and Captain Pete was pleasant and worked hard xtra hard to make good things happen. I will be back!

5 Hour Trip – Big Bass Night Trip on August 22, 2024 • 2 adultsHighly recommend this trip, especially if you want to experience a powerful fight. Capt. Pete puts you on the 🐟 and works nonstop to find the fish and reposition his boat. Other trips don't do that as much. It's also a different type of 🎣 than diamond jigging, which can get boring and exhausting. In my opinion, nothing better than constantly casting where you want to find the fish. You get that with Rising Tide!
