Come fish the productive waters of Western Long Island Sound aboard Viking Fly, a 20’ SeaCraft built for an active, hands-on experience. Whether you’re fly fishing or using spinning gear, each trip is tailored to your skill level.
Target Striped Bass, Bluefish, Bonito, and False Albacore, depending on the season. This is a run-and-gun trip with no trolling; just staying on the fish and in the action.
I also offer a local trip option that stays close to shore and focuses on non-stop action, making it a great fit for kids and beginners.
Up to 2 guests can fish comfortably, with 3 possible depending on the crew and conditions. All gear is included, with fly rods available upon request. You’re welcome to keep your legal catch.

The conditions were pretty gnarly, but Wes put us on top of bonitos early and made sure we didn't go home empty handed. The great thing about Wes is that he's patient and, of course, knows where to look for the bite. The worst thing is getting a captain who gets angry when you don't cast in the right spot, constantly tells you what you're doing wrong, or, in some cases, grabs a rod right out of your hand. Wes is not that guy. Will definitely book with him again the next time I go on a charter!
