Book your next trip with D.I. Reef Monster and discover what you're missing in Dauphin Island. They specialize in offshore fishing and have the equipment to get it done. From high-speed trolling and deep dropping with electric reels to just basic bottom fishing the reefs.

There's no guarantee when you're fishing, but just some of the species you can catch around here include Amberjack, Snapper, Grouper, Tuna, Cobia, Wahoo, Gray Triggerfish, and more with any luck. On the day of your trip, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.

You'll be welcome aboard a 31' Catamaran that can carry up to 6 passengers. It is rigged out with all the latest technology needed to catch fish and navigate safely. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself. Kids are welcome!

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips, and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip. There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

It's never a bad idea to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Pick-up and drop-off out of Fort Morgan is available.

Give yourself something to look forward to, and book a trip with D.I. Reef Monster!

Highlight of our trip!
4 Hour Trip-Nearshore Evening Trip on March 19, 20263 adults1 child

We were scheduled for a trip out and Captain Spencer called to offer an earlier trip and with Captain Jay. We gladly accepted, we were ready! We arrived at the dock and the boat was ready. Super cool looking, as well! We met Captain Jay, very nice, knowledgeable and you can just tell that he loves what he does! Very fun Captain! We had our limit caught within an hour or so and were worn out! Our daughter wasn’t really into the fishing and Captain Jay told her that he would try his best to find her some dolphins, sure enough he did and sure was so happy! He truly went above and beyond to make sure we enjoy the trip. He taught us how to clean the fish as well! This was truly an incredibly fun adventure! My family highly recommends. We will definitely be going back

Highly recommended! Won’t regret it.
6 Hour Trip – Nearshore Evening on May 5, 20262 adults

Caught our limit early. They were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful with everything. We moved a few times to get more and bigger fish when needed. I’ve always gotten seasick and this time I didn’t and I attribute it to the type of boat he uses. I have nothing but positive things to say about this experience, crew, boat and tackle. We are definitely going to use them again in the future.

Great Trip
4 Hour Trip-Nearshore on May 17, 20266 adults

To use the Captain’s word, we were out in ‘SPICY’ conditions! That said, we caught a bunch of fish. Multiple species and caught enough keepers to fill an ice chest!

I've fished all of my life mostly from the Mississippi Gulf Coast inshore. Started venturing further out until I realized I was meant to be an offshore fisherman. From 2012 to the present day, boats got bigger, and techniques got better.
