Book your next trip with D.I. Reef Monster and discover what you're missing in Dauphin Island. They specialize in offshore fishing and have the equipment to get it done. From high-speed trolling and deep dropping with electric reels to just basic bottom fishing the reefs.

There's no guarantee when you're fishing, but just some of the species you can catch around here include Amberjack, Snapper, Grouper, Tuna, Cobia, Wahoo, Gray Triggerfish, and more with any luck. On the day of your trip, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.

You'll be welcome aboard a 31' Catamaran that can carry up to 6 passengers. It is rigged out with all the latest technology needed to catch fish and navigate safely. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself. Kids are welcome!

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips, and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip. There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

It's never a bad idea to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Pick-up and drop-off out of Fort Morgan is available.

Great deep sea fishing trip!

Our group of three had a really great time out with Captain Spencer and deckhand Tyson. The weather was spotty though they both worked hard to put us on fish while dodging rain, and kept the vibe on the boat great throughout the whole trip. Definitely recommend them for a fishing trip in the Gulf!

Had a great half-day trip with Capt Spencer & Tyson. Our crew had mixed experience fishing offshore. Capt & Tyson were very patient and took the time to show the guys the proper techniques. Within no time we were filling the box. Brought home a cooler fool of beeliner and jack filets. Couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water. These gentlemen are consummate professionals who know how to put you on the fish and are fun guys to be on the boat with! Highly recommend booking a trip with Capt Spencer & Tyson!

Great trip, even with challenging weather

We had a great trip with my family of 6. While out, some weather rolled through near shore, and the bite slowed for a bit. After some working, we still managed to get our limit of snapper, a couple almaco, a bonito, and a few trigger fish (which aren't in season and we didn't keep). We had a great time, and it was a wonderful experience for my kids' (ages 6, 8, 12, and 14) first off-shore trip. Captain Spencer and his deck hand, Tyson, did great with the kids and managed to keep us on fish.

Fishing trip was awesome. We met at the dock and went out and caught several different kinds of fish and went home with a bunch and left overs. It was my first time deep sea fishing and I definitely made the right call on who I was going out with. I will definitely be coming back next year or any chance I get.
