Capt. Cody was born and raised on the island and grew up fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. Massage Island Fishing strives to give you the best experience possible and put you on whatever species you want to target.
The 39' Contender was completely refitted in 2025 with 3 new Yamaha 300 outboards, all new Garmin electronics, radar, and sonar, complete JL audio, as well as all new pumps and safety equipment. It can accommodate up to 6 passengers. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips, and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip. The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask, and your captain can tell you more.
Capt. Cody welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. It's recommended to bring snacks, drinks, a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

Been on multiple trips with these guys, we have been sword fishing, deep dropping and snapper fishing, catching targeted fish on every trip. These guys can do it all. Highly recommend this charter.
