Antonio Flecha is the the consummate guide! He knows the waters of Culebra intimately. His eagle eyes can see tailing fish up to hundreds of yards away, and detect a permit over grass beds that I would never see. For a time we got out of his skiff to hunt tailing bonefish in a foot of water. It was incredibly exciting to be set up for multiple shots of small groups of bonefish.Walking out of the flats he somehow spotted a lone permit, setting me up for a close shot at him, but no take. Back in the skiff, he poled back over the area, found the permit again, and got me a perfect shot at him. I couldn't believe I had a permit nose down nibbling at my crab fly. The permit lived up to its reputation by spitting the fly before a hard strike, but what a thrill. He ended the morning by poling his skiff in a different area to tailing bonefish, hooking one for a couple of great runs. His quiet explanations and directions hunting fish are priceless. His Sage rods and Hatch reels are perfectly set up with the right lines, leaders and flies to maximize success. I could not have had a better experience.

Antonio has extensive knowledge of the water, fish, and techniques! Top of the line Sage equipment and ties his own custom flies designed for the targeted fish. Just as important, Antonio is a solid, kind, good guy, with a great personality - someone you want to spend time with. Antonio is our forever fishing guide down in Culebra! After 30 years of fly fishing almost exclusively fresh water trout, saltwater fly casting for bonefish on the flats of Culebra with Antonio was a treat! Antonio will absolutely put you on the fish and definitely see the fish before you do! The rest is up to you!

capt put us on fish including permit tarpon and bone. had a few strikes but wasnt a super productive day but it was very fun and would do again

Our main goal was to catch a bunch of different fish and Capt. Flecha put us on them. We caught over 10 different species and over 20 fish total in the 4 hours we were with him. I know he is well versed in finding and catching the big three and if that was my goal I would happily book with him as well. Antonio is personable and professional while still feeling like you are fishing with your super knowledgeable buddy. You will not go wrong with Antonio.
