These waters are known for Striped Bass, Bluefish, and more – with any luck, they’ll make your reel scream. For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.

Capt. Rob believes in teaching kids to fish while they’re young, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

You’ll be dropping lines from a 32’ Osmond Beal Downeast boat with room for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Rob will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. An 18–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

You can’t go wrong when you bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
