If you're in the market for a day to remember, look no further than the Swords & Sickles. This is a family friendly boat for peope looking for a next level fishing trip. You will fishing on a 2025 35' Freeman. This a world class high performance fishing platform.
The Swords & Sickles has the speed to get out to waters known for Yellowfin Tuna, Blue Marlin, Swordfish, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), White Marlin, Amberjack, Red Snapper, Gag Grouper, Gray Triggerfish, Vermilion Snapper, Bigeye Tuna, Wahoo, and more – with any luck, you'll hook into a few!
During the trip you might be live baiting, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized with spinning tackle.
Families making of a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites for a boost of energy when needed!
Capt. John will bring you aboard a 35' Catamaran that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Capt. Gary has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's always wise to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We chose to go on a larger boat because you never know what the weather is going to do. In true fashion it was a little rough out this morning but the boat was very smooth. The captain worked hard to get us on snapper and we had the majority of our limit early. We hit a couple of other spots looking to fill the last of our limit and ended on a stud. Captain was very nice and made sure everyone was getting on fish. I would recommend this charter to anyone and look forward to booking them again when I’m back this way.
