These waters are known for Spotted Seatrout, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Jack Crevalle, Flounder, Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Black Drum, and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. For these species, you’re likely to bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Kevin also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Your boat for the day is a 24’ Skeeter bay boat with room for 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
