You’re likely to fish for Redfish, Snook, Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead, Tarpon, and more, depending on the season. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!

Capt. David operates a 23’ Bay boat with space for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation. There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Kids are welcome. If you don’t have a child-size vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. You can’t go wrong when you bring snacks, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
