Capt. Victor is here to put you on the fish and to make sure you have the time of your life during your fishing adventure. He specializes in light tackle and will go above and beyond to snag the fish you’re going after. As part of the 4 to 8-hour trips, you can target the likes of Redfish, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, and Black Drum, depending on the current season and weather conditions.

No matter your experience level, Wilmington has year-round fishing, and Captain Victor will put all his energy into providing a pleasurable experience for expert anglers and beginners alike. He aims to tailor your trip to your needs. You can keep anything you catch as long as it’s legal to do so, and catch cleaning and filleting are included.

You’ll be fishing from an 22’ Sea Pro bay boat with enough room for up to 4 anglers at any time. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip, and the captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses. This is a children-friendly business, so bring your loved ones to share these memories with.

We had an amazing time on our 2-hour intercoastal fishing charter with Captain Victor! From start to finish, he made the trip fun, relaxed, and memorable. Victor was extremely knowledgeable about the area and knew exactly where to take us to catch fish. He was patient, professional, and made sure everyone on board was comfortable and having a great time. The scenery along the intercoastal was beautiful, and the fishing itself was exciting—we were reeling them in almost as soon as we dropped our lines. This trip was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. I highly recommend booking a trip with Victor if you’re looking for a fantastic fishing experience. We can’t wait to come back and do it again!

Capt Victor put us on the fish!

Half Day Trip on August 7, 2025 • 3 adults • 1 child

Capt Victor put us on the fish! We went to catch red drum and caught our limit! It’s clear he has been fishing these waters for a long time. Day started off with out a hitch, he was ready for us when we pulled into the boat ramp. Boat, tackle and bait were ready to go and we were fishing within 10 minutes of boarding. At every spot Victor took us he baited the lines and put rods in our hands right away, he’d even throw one out for my 7 yr old and put the rod in his hand or the holder depending on what my son wanted. Caught a ton of fish throughout the morning. 5 reds, multiple flounder, and a few other species that were fun to fight. Victor was super professional and extremely helpful to all of us but was a great captain to have for my kid. He was super patient and attentive. I’ve been on a bunch of local inshore charters and this was one of the best, by far! Would recommend 10/10 and will definitely be back!

Redfish!!

Half Day Trip on June 28, 2025 • 2 adults

My son and I went for a four hour fishing trip with Captain Victor Trejo and Carolina Charters. We had a blast!! When we got to the boat ramp the Captain was already waiting for us and ready to go with a live well full of live bait that he caught with a cast net. Captain took us to multiple good fishing spots and we caught multiple red drum in the 19 to 20 inch size range. These were the first red drum for both of us. My son was very excited when he caught his first red drum. .This fishing trip is very kid friendly. Captain Trejo spent a lot of time showing my son different techniques to help him catch more fish. That was greatly appreciated. We caught ray also. A beautiful and fun day on the water. We will definitely be back!

Awesome experience!

Victor was an awesome captain who put our crew on lots of fish. He was educated on the water we were fishing and the species we were after. Victor was a great teacher who showed us the ropes on everything we needed to know to have a successful and enjoyable day, and he was always on top of what was going on in the boat. The boat and equipment was everything we needed to have a successful day. Our crew of four had a great day, and we would highly recommend Captain Victor to any crew looking to have a good day on the water.
