Born To Fish South Texas Charter
Book your next trip with Born To Fish South Texas Charter and find out what you’re missing in Port Aransas.
Around here the fishing is popular for Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Black Drum, Bonito, Cobia, Jack Crevalle, King Mackerel (Kingfish), and more if conditions are right. You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Young ones are welcome, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Your adventure begins aboard a 33’ North Coast sportfishing vessel that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Brian will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Before coming aboard, you may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. Some essentials to bring are sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Your trip with Born To Fish South Texas Charter is just a click away, so why not make it happen?
