Take a break from the beach and lets go fishing!

Depending on the season, you might hook into Amberjack, Barracuda, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Flounder, Grouper, King/Spanish Mackerel, Snapper etc.

You're free to keep the fish you catch, so long as regulations allow. Plus, Captain Brandon will clean and bag your catch for dinner at the trips conclusion. Many of our nearby restaurants also offer to cook your catch.

Your adventure begins aboard a 22' center console Robalo with a deep-V hull, repowered in 2023 with a new 250hp Yamaha. It has extra tall gunnels (28-33' from the deck) and padded bolsters to lean against while fighting fish. There's a camper syle port-a-potty in the console for ladies/emergencies, and everything else you'll need for a safe and productive day on the water.

Capt. Brandon will supply high quality rods/reels and tackle (Penn Spinfishers & Shimano Speedmasters). Live bait is typically caught before the trips departure when needed. Larger baits for use during Amberjack season will need to be caught on the reef, or sometimes we spend a little time in Pensacola Pass and pre-load the live-well.

Captain Brandon covers your fishing license for the trip.

Children 6 and older are always welcome, so bring 'em aboard and get the kids hooked while they're young! Kids aged 4 & 5 will need to wear a USCG approved life vest at all times. You will need to bring this vest as the ones required on board are bulky and uncomfortable. Kids 3 & under are not typically permitted.

You will want to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, plus anything you'd like to eat or drink. I have a cooler and ice on board for you. Leave a cooler in the vehicle for your days catch.

Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Saltwater Fever!

July blast!
5 Hours – Offshore Deep Sea Fishing on July 9, 20262 adults

I have finished with several different outfits doing deep-sea charter trips, Brandon is hands-down 100% top-notch definitely ranks in the top two best trips I have ever had! This guy actually knows how to get on fish! Not to mention more importantly, he is a worker. Constantly moving catching bait, switching up to try to ensure that his clients have the best experience possible. We caught plenty of fish more than I had expected, and a couple of real giants! I would 100% recommend anybody fishing in the Pensacola area connect with Brandon. You will not be disappointed!

Awesome trip with a knowledgeable Captain
5 Hours – Offshore Trolling on July 15, 20263 adults1 child

Very family friendly Captain, his experience and knowledge came in handy, when the bite slowed he was able to quickly adjust and keep the bite moving. Captain Brandon Carey was able to put us on some great fighting fish as well as some good catch to bring home. overall experience was excellent and will be back in the future. Thank you Captain Carey!

I appreciate you guys! If you’re able to get back down here the first week or two of September, our strongest fish (amberjack) will be in season. I know a bunch of places to find em and they’re great eating too!

My earliest memories are mostly standing near a pond with a cane pole snagging Channel Cats and Green Sunfish. I was hooked at a very young age, constantly daydreaming about the giant fish that were lurking in every roadside pond (something I still do). Around 8th grade my parents got our first boat and bought me a subscription to Saltwater Sportsman. I proceeded to try every tip and trick inside and with so many types of fish and techniques for catching them, let's just say I caught the fever. I started deck-handing on a head boat in 2006 taking up to 45 passengers, 2008 I had jumped ship with my captain to a smaller walk-on vessel fishing up to 15, and most recently I spent 8 years working on a private multi-passenger catering up to 28. I love taking people offshore to experience our beautiful waters and amazing fishery.
