Fishing around here will often see you targeting Vermilion Snapper, Red Snapper, King Mackerel, Scamp Grouper, MahiMahi, Gray Triggerfish, Spanish Mackerel, Grunt, Little Tunny, Almaco Jack, Scup (Porgy), Mangrove Snapper, and more, depending on the time of year.
On the day of your trip, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Fish caught during the trip are yours to keep, provided they're legal to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Keep a cooler ready in the car!
Your trip begins aboard a 31' Twin Vee Catamaran with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as dead or cut bait. Live bait will be caught when necessary.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so 20% + tips are customary and much appreciated.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
You can't go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but no hard liquor or glass bottles.

STOP LOOKING & book Captain Cody and Ocean (his puppy) for your next charter! My wife and I had a great experience June 2024. We caught some good black snapper, our limit of red Snapper which were massive and as well as vermillion snapper. Captain Cody was very knowledgeable on the fishing conditions and well prepared. He also shared some great recipes for cooking the snapper with us. His dog ocean was also the best and he kept us entertained while traveling. Overall 10/10 and can’t wait till next year!!

Great charter with Capt. Cody!

There were four of us that went out with Capt Cody on Thursday March 14th. Capt Cody was on time and had us pulling out at 0629 for 0630 charter. He kept the boys and I entertained as we swapped stories on the way out to the first fishing location. The fishing was great and he kept moving after one spot was spooked. The TwinVee catamaran operated flawlessly and we all stayed busy catching fish. We would definitely go out with Capt Cody again.

We had a great 6 hour trip. We caught our limit in black and red snapper and was only short 4 for our limit of mingo. We decided to go after some mahi I caught a trophy mahi) or we would’ve for sure. We also caught a huge gag grouper and several strawberries. We pulled in amberjack and triggerfish as well. I’ll definitely be going back out with these fellas.

I was recommended this company and my buddy was right. Great experience, the captain was a good guy and very knowledgeable. Personable, somebody you would use again. I had my kids asking when we could go back. I'd book one tomorrow if I was going to be here just so my wife could go.
