J&J Offshore Fishing
J&J Offshore Fishing's will put you on the fish. We only fish for what is biting and we get there fast with our 28' Deep V, Pilot House KingFisher, with twin 150 hp outboards.
In spring time we target Halibut and Bottom Fish. When the weather allows, we fish up to 40 miles offshore for the Big Butts. On the way back in we stop off at a honey hole to top off the meat bag with deep-water Rockfish and lingcod.
As Spring turns to Summer we are in prime position to intercept the massive biomass of Coho Salmon that transit up the coastline. Unlike picky river salmon that have started to die in the spawning process, these ocean Coho are alive and hungry. You are guaranteed some acrobatics and a hot bite during the summer Coho Rodeo. We will throw crab pots and do some nearshore bottom fishing at the beginning of the day at any of the abundant reefs of the Newport coastline.
As the heat of summer gets into full effect it's Tuna Time! We have the range to chase Tuna up to 70 miles offshore (further upon special request). When the warm blue water gets within range, we have one mission in life, to kill Tuna. From trolling to jigging iron, we will work ourselves and you to the bone to make sure we fill those Tuna jars.
With the more prevalent warm waters, we are catching some exotic pelagic fish, such as Mahi Mahi and Bluefin. We might even throw out the big rod on the way home from Tuna fishing to target the elusive Cow (over 100 lbs) Bluefin Tunas that have been spotted lately.
Nothing beats the chaos and action of a hot Tuna bite. It's what we live for at J&J Offshore.

These boys know the area well, and kept us all geared up for our best chances of getting into some good fish! Had a great time and a great catch! Captain and crew were very friendly and hospitality wad great! 5 stars, definitely would book with them again!

Thanks Buddy! Hope to see you out on the water again soon. Congrats on your first Lingcod!

I would do this again. Great fishing. Crabbing was a little slow but enough for all fisher. If in Newport again I would go again. The captain was right there for all problems that arrived.

Thanks Terry!
It would have been an amazing trip if the coho run would have been around Newport. But that’s fishing! Captain Jered and crew were fun and worked hard all day.

Thanks Tim!
