Spend the day with Captains Brandon Hampton and Captain Tony Cason at Southern Sport Fishing Charters and discover the best inshore fishing South Georgia offers! Captain Brandon or Captain Tony will be your guide, bringing years of experience aboard.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Black Drum, Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Sheepshead, Whiting, Blacktip Shark, and whatever else is biting. During the trip, you might be spinning, popping, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Feel free to keep any fish you catch so long as regulations allow it. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Your next meal doesn't get any fresher than that!
Families who love fishing together will be glad that kids are welcome aboard! Don't leave home without sunblock (non-spray), snacks, and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Your vessel for the day is a 23' Bay boat that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Me and my girlfriend went out with Capt Brandon and had an absolute great time! I asked for redfish and got them. Big fish! Brandon was polite, informative, helpful and a good guy to be with. I will recommend to my friends and look forward to next time I'm fishing in GA!

A great way to get the kids out on the water

My boys (13 and 12) and I had a great time with Captain Brandon. He guided us to the best spots and had our lines set up for success. We caught sharks, rays, trout, catfish, and more. He did all the hard work and let us have all the fun.
It was great seeing my boys light up when we pulled the fish in the boat. Way better than video games. We come to St. Simons on vacation every year and we will be doing another guided fishing trip with fishingbooker again.

Today was a day for the trout and over slot reds. Captain was on time and prepared. We caught plenty of keeper trout and oddly enough no keeper reds but many under slots. We finished the day with over slot reds though which was tons of fun on light tackle. Captain was on his game all day. It was great getting to know Brandon, he is an out standing guy, fisherman, and captain. 10/10 recommend booking with Captain Brandon.

My 4 kids and I had a great time catching fish with Captain Brandon! It was everything I was hoping for. All of the kids caught multiple fish (sharks, stingrays, catfish, whiting). They kept Capt. Brandon busy the whole time getting fish off hooks and baiting - and he didn’t miss a beat. Boat was stable and quiet, and Brandon was good company to be with. Highly recommended!
