Capt. Pete Casale owns and operates My Mate Charters out of Montauk, New York. The boat is docked at the prestigious Montauk Yacht Club, a full service resort that offers first class accommodations, ample parking and a variety of amenities for your convenience.

My Mate is a comfortable 41 ft Hatteras Sport Fisherman. Powered by twin Cummins engines, it is both fast and reliable. The boat is fitted with a range of navigational electronics to help the able captain put you on fish, and it is air conditioned for comfort. Inside, the boat features a bathroom as well as a plenty of seating and a multimedia system for your enjoyment.

There are a variety of fishing options you can partake in, depending on what trip you choose to go on. You could be bottom fishing, light tackle fishing or trolling for species such as the famous Montauk Striped Bass, Sea Bass, Tuna, Porgies, Cod, Sharks, Flounder and many more. Whether you’re a beginner or an avid angler, Capt. Pete and his team will do all they can to make sure you come home with a tasty catch.

Capt. Pete has been fishing in Montauk for over 30 years. He first gained much respect among local anglers by working as first mate for some of the town's most demanding captains, and his considerable experience he has landed some of the area's top tournament winners. Pete has been captain of My Mate for the past twelve years, during which time he has perfected his customer service and become a valued member of the Montauk charter boat fleet.

Arrived and they we’re ready to go fast.
Hit the tide and immediately started bagging big striped bass
