My wife and i booked with Juan based on price and reviews. We were very glad we did. It was last minute the night before but i had a welcome message and instructions within minutes from him. I didn't care so much about trophy fishing, but i did want the experience of getting a marlin. i told him a marlin sounded fun, but mostly just wanted to bring home meat and story. The crew worked hard to put us on fish and we had a couple get away within the first 90 minutes, that was my fault lol. (wahoo and rooster?) by 830, I had landed my first Marlin. about 70 lbs, and 6 feet. very cool experience. every time the crew saw fish, we'd pull up an cast at the Action. Almost every time they'd hook up, but we lost them. another larger Marlin was about to be my wife's catch but it also got off. we trolled tuna for about the last 3 hours but they weren't having any that day, it seemed from any of the 10-15 boats in the area so defibrillator can't fault the captain for that. overall very great experience, the crew is quite but friendly, so Juan works hard to makes conversation and make it enjoyable. i saw a review complaining about the food.... the burritos were homemade and delicious. what do you want, store bought packaged food? lol. Homemade is much better. 10/10 thanks for the experience and I'll be back with my son and daughter next time! Then we

gracias amigós You are fun to be wiht,,see you here again soon!!
Met Capt JC (Juan Carlos) 6:25AM at the marina for a full day trip with my son (14yrs old). He walked us over to the fishing license desk, and covered our 2 licenses as advertised. We then boarded his boat the Carolina which was exactly as described on the website. The boat is a bit aged, but super clean and a very comfortable ride. Onboard was 2 mates who joined us, and they were both super friendly, helpful, skilled, and accommodating. We left the marina, and within 20 minutes, we had multiple lines out trolling nice live bait at one of the closer reefs. We successfully caught a few skipjack tunas, and lost a beautiful very large mahi, (they call them dorados here in Cabo). Because of the mahi hookup, Capt JC and crew switched up the entire spread, to mahi lures, and put out the outriggers as well. Within 2 minutes we had a full spread of about 6 rods out. We trolled around, got hit by a sailfish for about 10 seconds, and then it spit the hook 😢. Capt made the call to go to one of his Marlin spots, and once again changed up the entire spread to larger trolling lures to target the marlin. My son hooked up onto an approx 300 lb Marlin and fought it for about 45 mins. We had the marlin pretty close to the boat, and unfortunately we lost it in the end. It happens. If you're looking for a great Capt who cares enough to switch up his technique, and try multiple spots the entire trip in order to put you on fish, then this is the guy! We had an amazing day out there with the entire crew, and I'd recommend them to anyone who loves to fish. Although we did not land the monster mahi, or the incredibly massive Marlin, we had an amazing day! Thank you gentlemen for an awesome experience with my son.

gracias amigos thanks for be fishing wiht us,, see you here again soon!!!
Ripped it down to Cabo with my boy and we caught a massive marlin. I cannot recommend JC and his crew enough. The crew is on time and on point at all moments and we had an absolute blast. We will be back and we will be booking many more charters with JC and his crew. We had such a great time, that we booked back to back full day trips. Thank you guys so much! If youre going on a boys trip, look no further. This is the crew if you want to catch big game and have a blast.

gracias amigos You guys are Nice to be wiht, we are happy for You to be happy wiht us,,see you here again soon,,

Juan and his crew took care of us again this year during our annual trip to Cabo. As usual, communication before the trip was excellent and meeting up at the marina on fish day was problem free. Juan handled all details as promised (bait, food, etc.) so we only had to worry about showing up. We targeted roosterfish, dorado, and striped marlin ... we caught roosterfish, dorado, and striped marlin! These folks put us on the fish which is why I always call Juan when in Cabo. Just as important, we always have fun with the crews because they are super friendly and have that unique Mexican sense of humor. Thanks again Juan!

Thank you friends, see you here again soon!!

I booked this fishing trip to catch a bucket list fish-rooster fish. not only did i check roosters off the list, i ended the trip with 2 other fish from my list; an african pompano and a 9 foot 180lb blue marlin. The crew worked extremely hard to put us on fish. I booked a 5 hour trip and i called it after 3.5 hours and headed back to the marina because my arms were hurting from catching fish. on the way in, we stopped and got to see a few whales. overall 11/10 would recommend. this charter company will be my choice every time i am in Cabo.

thank you friends, see you here again soon!!
