These waters are known for Yellow Perch, Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, and more – with any luck, you’ll hook into a few! On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll using light or heavy tackle. Fish caught during the trip are yours to take home, so long as they’re within the legal limit. Have a cooler ready in the car!

You’ll be fishing from a 28’ Baja cruiser with room for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures. Live bait is not included, but you can purchase it at market price.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. It’s recommended to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
