These waters are known for Black Drum, Bluefish, Flounder, Jack Crevalle, Ladyfish, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Tarpon, and more – with any luck, they’ll make your reel scream. For these species, you’re likely to spin using light tackle.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

Capt. Gilbert welcomes you aboard a 22’ Bay boat with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
