The Monterey Bay has a trophy fish with your name on it, so let Blue Knuckles Sportfishing Charters help you catch it! With Captain Chris at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
These waters hold game fish like Rockfish, Lingcod, Bluefin Tuna, Albacore Tuna, Halibut, White Seabass, and more if conditions are right.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board.
Your excursion begins aboard a 23' Parker fishing vessel that is coast guard certified. The boat can handle up to 6 passengers. Your captain will provide rods, reels, and all other gear and bait that will be needed.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, feel free. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

The Best First Experience Ever!!!
5 Hour Trip – Rock Cod/Lingcod on September 17, 2025 • 3 adults
My best friend, sons and I had the very best experience doing this wonderful fishing expedition with Captain Chris!! So punctual, clean boat, excellent demeanor and personality too! Chris took his time showing us how to fish on the open sea, what to watch out for, and then helped us with bringing the fish on the boat and setting up the new hooks/bait if needed. He was very experienced with where we could go and we caught a number of different varieties!! All with cool tunes while we caught our limits!! We would all highly recommend his fishing excusion to one and all. He even took some time to take us over and see some Humpback Whales that were out in the baby—just amazing!! So worth it!!

Captain Chris and his deck hand Forest were both very knowledgeable, helpful, just down to earth guys. Both made it a fun filled day, absolutely killed it with catching a lot of fish. Chris also heard there were orcas in the bay and found them on our way in. This made it an experience of a life time. Been fishing out of Monterey and moss landing on charter boats and this one was by far the best.

Captian Chris and Forrest are awesome. They took care of everything and explained everything perfectly. We had a lot of fun and caught a lot of fish. 100% recommend them for anyone looking to do a deep sea fishing trip. Very personalable and friendly.
