There’s a fish with your name on it in Dauphin Island, and Deep Sea Fishing D.I. will help you catch it!
Around here, it’s common to catch Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Redfish, Black Grouper, Bull Shark, Amberjack, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Sheepshead, Kingfish, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, and more, depending on when you go. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Deep Sea Fishing D.I. is a child-friendly charter service, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. Otherwise, you should bring your own. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!
Your vessel for the day is a 21’ Sea Strike (Center console) with space for 6 passengers. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself. There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time!
Don’t leave home without snacks, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be bottled water on board. If you want to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Pets are allowed sea fishing. Gratuities are customary to show appreciation for the captain’s hard work.

My husband and I booked this Charter Last Minute 24 hours after we attempted another local fishing charter no luck . I am so so glad we did. My first time on boat in the ocean I suffer bad anxiety and ptsd and I had no episodes!! Captain Wilder Wing drove that vessel like he was skating on water so smooth a ride . He was extremely easy to talk to and very knowledgeable like a LONGTIME FRIEND. The wildlife we got to see and the fishes we caught . OH THE FISHES beautiful and hopefully tasty. Captain Wilder provided everything we needed to get fish and even some water . Clean boat all working order fishing equipment. MONEY WELL SPENT HERE

He was incredibly hands-on, making sure everyone knew what to do, where to cast, and how to reel ’em in like pros (even if we weren’t!). His guidance was top-notch, and his personality? 10/10 — funny, friendly, and just plain awesome.
What really blew us away was that after just one handshake, he remembered every single one of our names — now that’s impressive! You can tell he truly cares about the people on his boat, not just the fish in the water.

Vibrant young man with a great personality that cheers for you. Most notable, he knew our names and never asked them again and never got anyone mixed up. Fishing was fun and spear fishing was a blast.
Note: This won’t be the touristy boat capt or boat that makes you feel like you can’t touch anything or you make a mistake all the time. This is Cot Ron type of experience. Much more laid back

After having had 2 failed attempts with other guides in other locations Wilder Wing came through for us for our first successful deep sea fishing charter at Dauphin Island, AL. 2 really good-sized ~15 lb Red Snappers, plus another. Caught 2 black tip sharks with one a ~7 footer, ~150 lb, what a workout. Caught a few others and some of those were not keepers.

We showed up at 5:30 for a 5 hour fishing trip. Capt. Wilder was already on the boat working to get us ready. Fished for a little while to get some bait fish. The seas were really choppy, no way to plan for that. The fishing was good early on, then some slack then back on. Then we hooked into a Sting Ray that gave the best fight of the day. Caught some Red Snapper, Mango Snapper, and several other species. It’s a fish taco night on the island soon. Thank you Capt. Wilder for a great day fishing.
