Bought this trip for my fiance's Big 40 who loves fishing. Due to the weather it changed to a day earlier, Captain Tom was extremely knowledgeable and professional, quick to figure out an alternative plan to ensure Joe had a safe and fulfilling trip. Joe said the boat was clean, bumpy but fun! Said Captain Tom "was awesome, knew his spots, great setup, boat was awesome, very flexible, choppy choppy but not a problem had a great time and I caught fish, great dinner." He caught and released 13 fish, brought one home for dinner. Over a day later and Joe's still raving about his favorite fishing trip.

What a great trip. Captain Tom very personable and just an amazing person all the way around. Booked this trip with my six-year-old son. Capt Tom took the time to work with My Son to make sure that he is comfortable and having a great experience. We caught some big fish. His boat is impeccable. You can tell he really cares for what he does out there. definitely booking another trip this fall. Thanks again Captain Tom.

My friends from Florida (a lovely couple) were thrilled to catch only keeper flukes and black sea bass — it couldn’t have gone better. To top it all off, Captain Tom even gave us two extra flukes, which made for an incredible sashimi dinner that night. Captain Tom’s wit and great sense of humor made everyone feel relaxed and happy throughout the trip. Thank you, Captain Tom — will see you again soon!

We had a great time! I chartered Captain Tom and brought my sister, mom, brother and mother in law out as a batchelorette party for my sis. (yes, non-conventional). Everyone caught a ton of fish. Captain Tom knows the waters extremely well. He knew by the tides exactly where the fish would be and they were there. Boat is very nice and clean. Poles and reels were nice and worked well. Everyone had a great time. I would definately recommend Tom.

We had a blast fishing with Captain Tom on July 28! A big storm had passed through the previous night and the sea was angry that day, my friends, like an old man trying to return soup at a deli. But we prayed to the fish gods and trusted in Captain Tom, and sure enough he put us right on the fish every time. Tom knew right where to go and what kinds of bait would work best. He was a lot of fun to fish with and we'd do it again in a second. Seasickness, u ask? Hell yes, but we didn't let a little nausea stop us. We kept our sight on the land when we weren't looking at our rod tips, and caught lots of Black Sea Bass and several Fluke (including a few keepers). In fact, I think we caught around 20 fish on our half-day trip, give or take! Definitely an adventure worth every penny. 5 stars, highly recommend, 10/10 would do it again. My wife surprised me with a half day trip with Captain Tom for my birthday and it did not disappoint! We started the morning throwing top water plugs for stripers and blues then trolled and caught some slot sized stripers with blue fish mixed in. We ended the trip drifting eels and landed multiple over slot fish including a 45lb trophy. Captain Tom was very professional, knowledgeable and passionate. Captain Tom even took the time to check in prior to the trip to go over the game plan for the trip. Thank you Captain for a great trip! I would highly recommend this charter to anglers of all abilities.

Wonderful trip with a fellow veteran. We got on the bite quick and hauled in personal best striper and bluefish. The weather cooperated all day and the Captain put us in fish all day. 1000% recommend chartering and will be my go to charter anytime I am in Newport.

Captain Tom is a man that doesn’t like his guests to go home empty handed. He worked hard to make sure we all caught fish and that some of those fish were “keepers”. Captain Tom knows the waters of Narragansett Bay. We fished at several spots in the Bay that he knew, and immediately began catching fish. Captain Tom made sure everyone had a good time. He was especially pleased that my daughter and grandson caught their first fish on the trip. He made sure my grandson had a good experience, by hooking a nice Striped Bass and immediately handing off the rod to my grandson. I’m sure Jack will not forget reeling in his first fish thanks to Captain Tom! A great day!

Captain Tom is very professional, patient and personable. Whether you are a professional or a beginner fisherman, you are guaranteed to make multiple large catches. He was very helpful and attentive the entire time. As more beginner to moderate fisherman Captain Tom made us feel like consummate professionals.

Bought this trip for my husband and son and another father and son They had a great time! Caught fish, learned so much from the captain and generally enjoyed themselves. The only issue was the seas. 6ft swells made it a pretty bumpy experience. Unfortunately, that was something that couldn’t be controlled.The captain did his very best and was very knowledgeable! We would go again!
