If you’re going to cast a line in Jacksonville, look no further than MARSHRATS Inshore Charters. Captain Andrew will be your guide, which allows you to benefit from years of professional experience.

These waters are known for Redfish, Spotted Sea Trout, Flounder, Jack Crevalle, and more – with any luck, you’ll hook into a few.

Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialised in this area.

You’ll be casting lines from a 19’ Flats boat with capacity for 3 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.

You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time. Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

MARSHRATS will travel all the way to Palatka to target Bass. Please inquire if you have any questions.

The captain will provide you with everything you need, aside from clothing and beverages. Please bring anything you would like (no glass), and let the captain know how old the passengers are, so he can bring the correct Life Jackets accordingly.
