There’s a fish with your name on it in Jacksonville and BattLine Charters will help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Ed can tell you all about the local fishery.
Around here it’s common to catch King Mackerel, Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Black Seabass, Gray Triggerfish, Vermilion Snapper, Red Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Spanish Mackerel, Sailfish, and more with any luck. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Your boat for the day is the Batt Schitt Crazy, a 31’ Fountain center console with space for 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Ed will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
You can’t go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
BattLine Charters will make it easy for you to go fishing in Jacksonville. So, how about booking that trip?
