It all started on a beautiful Caribbean morning. My son and I meet the crew for our 6 hour trip and out to sea we went. It didn’t take long before the first Maui Maui was on the line. Jose, Carlos, and Rudy took us on our first deep-sea fishing trip. The crew was wonderful and extremely accommodating. We arrived late to our appointment and the crew was so kind and patient with us. They even called us to make sure we made it safely as we were walking and unfamiliar with the area. We were so grateful! My son ended up catching three Mahi Mahi and was thrilled. This was by far our most fun excursion we had in Cozumel!  The boat was great and had a bathroom on board.  The crew was so nice and friendly.  They had plenty of drinks and at the end clean and cut one of our fish to take to a restaurant in town to eat!  We caught seven Mahi Mahi during our four hour excursion and the crew helped every step of the way.  I was worried four hours would be too long but it flew by!  We had fun the whole time!  We loved going with a small company and crew like... For the price point they were great! The boat was older could use some TLC…but we caught 7 mahi mahi fish!! They were friendly and they had plenty of refreshments, sandwiches, fruit, and veggies. The last few years we went with Chi Chi Charters. While they were great…they fished off punta sur and the only thing we ever caught trolling was a black tip shark and a barracuda! With 3 hermanos we fished towards PDC. The only downside is that it wasn’t realistic to hit el cielo on the way back.... More

Even though it was low season we managed to catch four Mahi Mahi, and furthermore we also lost a few, two of them next to the boat. Fish was a bit small but still fun. Crew worked well to find the fish on the 8 hour trip, and made sure every line ( 6 ) had proper bait all the time. Service was also fine. Captain filleted the fish, and we brought it to a local restaurant which made four superb dishes. Hope to come back in high season.
