Bottomed Out Fishing Charters
Excited to cast a line in Gulf Shores? Make it happen with Bottomed Out Fishing Charters LLC! A veteran-owned and operated business with over 10 years of experience. With Captain Ken at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
These waters are known for Mahi Mahi, Cobia, Amberjack, Grouper, Kingfish, Red Snapper, Swordfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, and more – with any luck, you’ll hook into a few! During the trip, you might be light tackle fishing, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Fish caught during the trip are yours to take home, so long as they’re within the legal limit. The crew can even clean your catch for you. Have a cooler ready in the car!
Your vessel for the day is a 30’ Center console with room for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips, and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip. Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Children are welcome, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Don’t forget to bring snacks, drinks, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Bottomed Out Fishing Charters LLC!
