Spend a great day on the water with Tug of War Charters. If you are a novice, this could be the best introduction you can get; if you are already experienced, now is the time to level up. With the knowledgeable Captain Randy Kraft by your side, you will experience Florida's east coast from a different perspective.
Capt. Randy is a full-time USCG licensed captain who was born and raised in the area. Described by his clients as 'laid back, easy going, and a true gentleman,' he will make sure you have a great time on his boat. With his lifelong fishing experience, he knows exactly where to find the catch – and you can also learn interesting details about the local history.
Your trip will take place on a 23' bay boat that was restored in 2017. Powered by a 200 HP Suzuki engine, the boat will quickly take you to your fishing spot. In case a very feisty fish starts biting your bait, there is also a fighting chair to help you out in the duel.
You will mostly target inshore and nearshore species such as Tarpon, Bull Redfish, Black Drum, Snook, Snapper, Grouper, and Blacktip Shark. If you want to enjoy the taste of your catch, Capt. Randy will clean and bag it for you.

We booked a quick 3-hour afternoon fishing trip out of New Smyrna Beach to see how our 10-year-old daughter would do on the water before committing to a longer charter. We wanted to test how she'd handle the heat, whether she'd get bored, and if fishing was something she'd really enjoy. We packed plenty of snacks and extra water, which was definitely a good idea since it was a hot noon trip. Despite the heat, we had an amazing time! The highlight of the trip was our daughter catching more fish than anyone else on the boat. The captain was friendly, helpful, and made the experience enjoyable for everyone. The short trip turned out to be the perfect introduction, and now we know we'll be booking a longer trip next time. We highly recommend this charter and captain for families, especially if you're introducing kids to offshore fishing.

Captain Randy Kraft is a true local – he was born and raised in Florida and has spent his entire life fishing the waters of the Sunshine State. He started his life outdoors by swimming with alligators in ponds and hanging out with Sharks on the surf. Capt. Randy is a full-time captain and he's incredibly passionate about passing on his knowledge and love of nature and the outdoors to everyone he meets.
