Hali Hunter – Pacific Playground
Hali Hunter Fishing Charters are based on the beautiful east coast of Vancouver Island, where they run charters from Pacific Playground. This world class nature park and marina is located on the bank of the Oyster River, where it joins the Georgia Strait.
Their 23’ Harbercraft Kingfisher boat provides a comfortable and safe base for your fishing adventure. Powered by a 225 HP Yamaha outboard engine, the boat can reach the best fishing spots with ease. It is equipped with a variety of navigational electronics and it is fitted with downriggers to help you target the biggest fish deep down in the waters.
Your trip could involve fishing for Chinook Salmon, Halibut, Lingcod, and Red Snapper, depending on the season and the conditions on the day. You could employ a variety of techniques, including trolling, bottom fishing, light tackle fishing, jigging, and popping. Fly fishermen can also be catered for, providing they bring their own equipment.
Your catch will be cleaned, filleted and packaged for you at the end of the trip, and all the conventional gear, bait and lures you will need are included in the price.
Just bring yourself, your friends, and the willingness to enjoy some great fishing in beautiful surroundings! Hali Hunter is at your service, ready to take you aboard!
