Summer Skool Sportfishing – Wyandotte
Spend the day with Summer Skool Sportfishing and get in on some of the best walleye fishing Michigan has to offer. Experience Detroit from the water!
You will be targeting primarily Walleye on this trip, depending on the conditions. During the trip, you will be vertically jigging.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Your boat for the day is a 26' Angler Qwest Tritoon with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Before coming aboard, it is recommended that you have a Michigan and Canadian fishing license. Licenses can be purchased online at the time of the trip if needed. It's always wise to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation.

Caught our limit of walleye. Captain and crew were very helpful and great with kids. It was a very relaxing and fun fishing trip. Boat setup was very good and comfortable. I would highly recommend booking this trip.

The only thing I would suggest is for the crew to observe the guest's technique and recommend changes in their presentation. Overall, they did an excellent job on a day with poor conditions. I would do another charter with them.

Had lots of fun with the Summer Skool crew! Captain and mate Gary did a great job keeping us on fish. Caught a nice variety too!
