Excited to catch some fish in Port Lavaca? Look no further than Fish On! Texas Guide Service! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Michael can tell you all about the local fishery.
These waters are known for Blacktip Shark, Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, Alligator Gar, Sheepshead, Flounder, Redfish, Speckled Trout, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some. You'll target your catch by light tackle fishing, popping, trolling, drifting, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You'll be welcome aboard a 22' Majek flats boat that holds up to 5 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. Don't forget to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Fish On! Texas Guide Service!
