Fivecoat Guide Service runs angling trips out of Port O'Connor and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.
Come on aboard with Capt. John, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like bottom fishing, drift fishing, popping, and spinning, based on the species you're targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 6 to 8-hour trips, where you'll be fishing for the likes of Redfish, Flounder, Black Drum, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, and Jack Crevalle, depending on the specific season and the day's weather.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 24' El Pescador boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers. This boat features a wireless trolling motor.
The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you'll need for a productive day on the water. Don't forget to buy a fishing license before the trip!
You can keep anything you catch, as long as it's legal to do so.
This is a children-friendly charter, so you're welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

This Capt. John was very instructive, attentive & patient. He was not ridged. We ran a little late he accommodated us!
Constantly looked out for our better interest Then explaining what & why he was or the fish were doing.
We felt confident in his ability!
And his boat…WOW!

Pick-up and drop off were effortless even in the face of a fishing tournament and numbers of boats. John provided all equipment and two effective forms of live bait. He moved us several times when fishing slowed down. He seemed very knowledgeable of the area. Everyone had a good time, and we caught enough keepers for lunch. Would definitely recommend!
