You will be spending your day aboard a 21 ft Shoalwater flats boat. Built in 2014, this classic design is one of the most popular around due to its shallow draft and masses of deck space, getting you into even the skinniest waters, and allowing up to 4 anglers to fish in comfort once you get there. The boat comes equipped with GPS and fishfinder to help hone in on the biggest catches, a livewell to keep your bait fresh if you choose to use it, and top quality tackle to give you the upper hand against even the fightiest fish.
Ruffling Feathers Guide Services is all about having great fun catching great fish, and they have set everything up to make sure you get both halves of the perfect charter. On each trip, you will be taken to all the best spots for the species you want to go after, and will be given the choice of jigging, drifting, or bottom fishing to best target everything the area has to offer.
Captain Brandon has been guiding the waters around Port O'Connor for years, and has been fishing his entire life. He will work with you ahead of time, planning your trip so you get the most out of your day, and once out on the water he will use every ounce of his extensive experience on to make sure he gets you on the fish. Remember to bring a big cooler, because you're going to have a lot of fish!

Thank you captain Brandon for a fun experience! The boys will remember and talk with their buddies from school on catching the Bull Reds. You did a great job on walking us through the catches and manuevering us around the boat when all 3 boys hooked up at same time. We appreciate you and look forward to more memories with you down the road.
Captain Brandon did a good job trying to put us on fish all day. Winds were over 30 mph which had the water stirred up and made it hard to stay in any place very long but he worked hard for us and made it a fun day. Would definitely recommend. Does a great job trying to put his clients on fish. We will be back.
Amazing trip on the water this past weekend. Capt. Brandon was very communicative both before / during / after the trip and made everything extremely easy for this, my first fishing boat charter. This was a trip for my 11yr old daughter and myself and it went great. Brandon put us on fish immediately and had all of the bait/rods ready to go. If at any time the spot of the conditions weren't optimal, away we went to a new spot. We had an absolute blast and would recommend for families / wives / children. Am interested in coming back for a Blast and Cast to include duck hunting in the future. Would recommend for any situation.

We just finished a two day trip with Brandon and his wife Jennifer. My two sons, my grandson and I fished the first day for trout. Brandon work so hard to put us on the fish and he didn’t give up until we found them. The next day we fished for shark. His wife Jennifer came to help out. We came away with 3 monsters. The memories of my 13 year old grandson fighting a shark for well over an hour will be with us forever. I will say that I’ve hired guides in many states and even in many countries, but none have worked harder to ensure we caught fish. And even more important is the way they made us feel like family. I will definitely be back many times in the future, to fish and hopefully to duck hunt Thanks, Captian’s Brandon and Jennifer for a weekend that will never be forgotten Ron Wallace
Ron It was defiently a pleasure to fish you guys. Its not everyday that i get to fish with 3 generations of a family. By the way outstanding job of getting the family together like that. Fighting that fish was the highlight of the trip for me. Your grandson never gave up after most grown men would have. Thanks again and cant wait to have yall back
