Captain Frank’s boat is a 25 ft Mako center console called “La Reyna”. Immaculately presented and loaded with top quality gear, the vessel is a comfortable and effective platform for groups of families or friends. It features brand new Hummingbird electronics, a radio/stereo, and twin four stroke Yamaha motors. You will find comfortable seating on board, as well as a shady T-top to ensure that everyone on board can enjoy their experience to the full.

Samara Local Fishing offer both full- and half-day trips, and they give you the option of fishing either inshore or offshore. When fishing inshore, you can expect to practice your fishing skills by jigging, popping, bottom fishing, and trolling for species such as Mahi Mahi, Cubera Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, Black and Yellow Fin Tuna, Wahoo, and more. When fishing offshore, you will mostly be trolling, and will be able to try the effective ‘bait and switch’ technique for thrilling big game fishing for Sailfish, Marlin, Tuna, and Wahoo.

Drinks and snacks are included in the price of all trips, and the charter company also offers a pick-up service for guests who are staying in the local area.

Wonderful fishing trip with Frank and Olman…..Both are always cheerful, always happy, always very professional in the fishing experience.  We (husband and wife) booked a four hour morning tour.  They were on time and perfectly prepared with everything possible for our enjoyment…great fishing gear, clean boat, cold water, juices, snacks and cold beer.  Lots of everything!
They did everything possible for us to catch fish - short of diving under and putting the fish on the hook!  And we caught fish.  Around a 35 pound Roosterfish - great photos and then back in the water.  And a large yellowfin Tuna which happily graces our dinner table and lots to share with friends.  And three medium size black tuna we used for bait during the day. At the end of a wonderful day, they arranged for the transport back to our hotel.  Highly recommend this fishing experience to anyone.

I have fished with Captain Frank for about 5 years now. Offshore, Inshore and even on the beaches around Samara with rivers running in. His passion for fishing is contagious and his knowledge of the area waters is quite impressive. This day we mixed it up a bit. We trolled to start the day, but moved closer to shore when that slowed down. Quickly catching some live bait, we started teasing some big Cubera Snapper right away. I had a take not 5 feet from the boat that floored me because 5 big Snappers came up at the same time. A big Broom tail Grouper was next and proved to be a fantastic battle, but turned into one of the best Fish dinners of my life. We all scored, screamed, laughed and danced for a few hours. Frank will keep things moving from spots to species to keep you busy and make your day a great one. He is a class act, a great guy, an awesome daddy, my preferred Captain in Samara and one hell of a fisherman. He takes you fishing not for a boat ride… Worth every penny and a decent tip, I promise you…

The boat and equipment were all in good shape.  The morning started off slow trolling and casting, but then we went out a bit further to bottom fish and between the 3 of us we caught more than 14 snapper.  I was hopeful we would have caught a little more variety of fish, but what we did catch made for an awesome fish fry for family and friends that evening!
