Excited to catch some fish in Morehead City? Salty Affairs Sportfishing is here to make it happen! Your guide for the day is Captain Joey Vickers, offering years of sportfishing experience.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, King Mackerel, Vermilion Snapper, Black Seabass, Spanish Mackerel, Gray Triggerfish, and plenty more. You can expect to do some spinning, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Trips can be hands-on or laid back depending on your preference
You'll find yourself aboard a 24' Center console with a capacity for 4 passengers. It has outriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, rigged baits, as well as lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation. There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Salty Affairs Sportfishing welcomes kids aboard, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. Don't leave home without snacks, drinks, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Salty Affairs Sportfishing!

Even though the fish didn’t cooperate, still enjoyed the trip. Captain and mate were friendly and knowledgeable.
Great trip, the captain and mate kept us on the fish. Will definitely book again .
A quick family getaway made better in every way by Capt Joey and Randy! They made sure we stayed in the fish and saw different parts of the islands! The boat was smooth, well equipped and clean! Our kids had a blast!

Both guys went above and beyond to try and find some fish for my son. We had a great day, we did catch some trigger fish and snapper! Overall great experience and I would book again!
Thank you guys for fishing with us today. Yall were a great crew, and next time we're loading the cooler, and will have a pre trip talk with the conservationist.

Means my some did the 6 hour trip. It was awesome we caught our limit on several different fish. The captain and mate was really good with us. I would highly recommend them.
