Diversion Fishing Charters is located in Beaufort and offers to show you a memorable time on these waters.
We will do our best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. We especially enjoy fishing with families and introducing kids to fishing.
Our 8-hour offshore trip allows trolling or bottom fishing offshore (up to 30 miles out, depending on conditions and season). Depending on the season, you may chase Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Cobia, Bonito, Speckled Trout, Gray Trout, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Black Seabass, and Grouper.
We also offer an 11 hour gulf stream trip fishing mainly for Mahi-Mahi, Wahoo, King Mackerel, Grouper, Vermilion Snapper, Black Seabass, and Amberjack depending on the season and conditions. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as bottom fishing or trolling depending on the species targeted.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 32' Cape Horn center console. This boat comes with a toilet and is equipped with outriggers for trolling and a GPS-equipped trolling motor for easily positioning the boat for bottom fishing. The boat is equipped with comprehensive navigation electronics and radar to provide safe and quick movement on the water.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle, bait, and any other needed hardware are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters: fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day.

He made sure we all had a great time and took time to do all the things we asked of him. His son was a great mate always ready to bait your hook or reset your rig. They even cleaned our fish when we finished a great day of fishing. I’ll be using him next year when we go out again!

We were on fish almost immediately and our excitement was always matched by the captain and first mate when we would hook up. Both very knowledgeable and made every effort to make the day better for us in any way they could.
