Must do fishing trip- DON'T MISS OUT!
4 Hour Trip – Reef Fishing (AM) on July 5, 20263 adults

We had an excellent time with Extreme Fishing PR! I booked this trip after reading all the amazing reviews, and Juan Carlos absolutely lived up to them. Communication from the start was excellent, and he helped us choose the best fishing trip based on the current water conditions. He is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, making the entire experience enjoyable from beginning to end. This trip was actually a birthday gift, and I was just tagging along. As a first-time fisher, I was a little nervous, but Juan Carlos made me feel completely comfortable. He coached me through the process, and helped me reel in my very first catch… a king mackerel! It was an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a knowledgeable guide who truly wants you to have a great time, I highly recommend Extreme Fishing PR. We can't wait to come back!

Experience counts!
6 Hour Trip - Deep Sea Fishing on August 18, 20261 adult

Captain Juan's experience really paid off on my trip. The offshore fishing conditions were difficult, with many scattered weeds in the water this day. Captain Juan switched strategies and we found a big weed line and trolled the edge, catching multiple nice mahi. Then we fished some structure Captain Juan knew about, and caught yellowfin tuna. His experience really paid off on what otherwise might have been a tough day!

Great trip even if we did not catch anything
8 Hour Trip - Deep Sea Fishing on July 24, 20262 adults

We went out targeting blue marlin. The Captain worked hard from the outset and we did everything right. After several hours, the Captain decided to call it early and partially refund me because the fishing was poor. No other boat reported catching anything and the birds weren't organized or working. Rather than ride around and take my money, he was honest with me as well as disappointed in the days activity. I will reach out again the next time my family and I are in Puerto Rico.

Wanted big fish, and got big fish.
4 Hour Trip – Deep Sea Fishing (AM) on December 16, 20253 adults

Surprised my husband with this one. We have a boat and fish often but live nowhere close to the ocean. I told Captain Michael exactly what i was wanting. I was looking for size not quantity. It started off a little slow but thats fishing. Captain Michael was doing his best. Then it happened you hear the screaming of the drag. I told my husband to go first knowing we was not going to catch alot. He hooked into a nice fish barracuda, about 4ft. Then we lost a few. Then it was my time. We had seen a tuna jump and Captain Micheal did what he does. He put us on the spot and the next thing we know drag is screaming. I was up. This fish put up a fight. At one point I thought I wasnt going to have the strength to get him in. My arm was tired and weak. Captain Michael kept telling me I had it. He never touch or tried to take my pole. I paid for this fight and he was going to make sure I got it. I ended up with a 35 pd Tuna that looks bigger than me in pictures. Biggest fish of my life, so far. Had a great time out fished my husband again lol and have some great memories. Lifes short do the trip.

4 Hour Trip – Reef Fishing (AM) on May 27, 20262 adults

We caught a huge Barracuda and a Tarpin, cross off a couple of bucket list catches. Juan Carlos was as skilled as they come and takes care of you! Also mindful of weather and your safety!!! Anybody would love this experience. Weather changes on a dime in Peurto Rico but it paid to stick with a captain who cares about you.

Juan Carlos Torruella
Response from Captain

Thank you for your kind review. was a pleasure fishing with you and your wife.
