My son and I had an incredible day out with Captain Ritchie. From the moment we left the dock, it was clear we were in good hands — the captain read the water perfectly and put us right on the fish. The highlight of the trip was watching my son hook into a massive tarpon. The captain talked him through every second of the fight, coaching him on when to give line, when to reel, and how to keep pressure on without losing it. That kind of calm, experienced guidance made all the difference — we landed the fish, and it’s a memory my son and I will be talking about for years. Professional, patient, and clearly passionate about what he does. Can’t recommend this trip enough for anyone looking for a top-notch fishing experience, especially with kids. We’ll be booking again.

what you will find booking with Fish N Sea is great boats, top notch quality fishing gear, and most importantly knowledgeable guides to put you on the fish. while I really like captain Ritchie and his savvy abilities to raise tarpon, and the bimini on his boat, it is tough to not choose to fish with captain Luis. Although his boat doesnt have a bimini, that lets you access the channel between Laguna Torecilla and San Jose, a big plus. Luis also has Livescan electronics, electric trolling, plus he is a good flyfishing instructor. So do what i did, book two days with captain Luis, and one day with capt Ritchie. I had a very good experience angling with them and am already planning to return to do it again. Fish on!

If your looking for the best fishing experience that PR has to offer. No need to look any further. Last year we went out with captain Luis and he put us on some of the best fishing we have ever had. This year we went out with captain Richie and he was on freaking point. Captain Richie put us on the tarpon charter of a life time. It was crazy. There were boats all around us and not many were hooking up. We were out there 30 min and had the first one to the boat. If you have ever been tarpon fishing you know how hard they are to catch. In a 4 hour morning trip we got 3 monsters to the boat and lost count of how many hits and hook ups we lost. A chater of a lifetime. Thank you again Richie and Luis. We look forward to seeing you next year.

Captain Richie said the bite has been better in the afternoon so we switched to the afternoon trip instead of the morning trip and it was a good decision. Started off a little slow but we started hooking into some tarpoon after the first hour of fishing. Landed a 15 pounder and then we switched to artificial baits. Started working canals and I hooked into a nice 80 pound tarpoon on my second cast. Had a good fight and landed him by the boat. Overall a pretty productive day. Captain Richie was a great guide and we had a blast.

Ricardo was an excellent guide! He tried numerous spots to get us on fish and have a chance to get a Tarpon. The boat, outboard and fishing gear were all top of the line and he also stocked a cooler with bottled water for us. We got lucky and my daughter landed a large Tarpon approximately 60” and 50lbs. It was a long fight and Ricardo was excellent in giving my daughter directions, and adjusting the boat to give her the best chance of landing it. This was a great experience and we will definitely do it again.

What a great morning! Captain Richie told me that the fish were biting dyring the past couple of days. He was right. We had a little but of a slow start, but then the tarpon woke up! We landed three between 40 and 70 pounds, and a couple got away. Richie did an excellent job coaching me and the last fish of the day I hooked and landed myself with his advice. I learned a lot from him and he knew exactly where the fish were and how to hook them. Fantaatic trip!

Couldn’t give this trip enough Stars!! Captain Ritchie was amazing. Not only had us on Tarpon within the first 1/2 hour of being out but was such a gentleman and truly nice guy. He shuttled my wife back to pee 🙄 without a second thought. Wife caught her first (2-3) fish ever and Captain Ritchie put me on some great fish. Fought what we thought to be a 80 lb Tarpon for a half an hour and got it to the boat 4 times. only thing missing was the final picture as one last head jerk and he bent the hook in half. amazing day with a top. otch guide. I will not use anyone else on returning trips!!

nothing beats fishing with a great captain! everyone should alway understand you foshing not guaranteed catching. our captain went way out of his way to make sure our trip would be everything you would want and he definitely did that! I highly recommend booking with him!! On a high note we landed a bunch of nice tarpon but would have still enjoyed the trip if we hadn’t. His experience on fishing and explaining his techniques and what to look for was both helpful and well worth knowing. Even if you’re a first time fisher there is a great chance of landing a fish of a lifetime. Again Thanks Captain for going way out of your way for us, i hope to be able to fish with you again!!

Took my dad and brother on a 6-hour evening trip with Capt. Luis and had an increidble time. He knew the best spots to fish and taught us how to catch them. I wouls definitely recommend going and fishing with Captain Luis! We caught a few small tarpon and had some big ones on the line as well but couldnt reel them in all the way. Still had a blast and hope to go again soon. Thank you Capt. Luis for an incredible memory!

I/we have spent quite a number of trips with Captain Luis Garcia, He is truly one of the most quality guys you could ever fish with. He is relentless in his desire to get you on fish, he is a great teacher, he is affable, and he is a pure joy to be around. Luis gave us the opportunity to meet his family for some other issues outside of fishing, and if it matters, this guy comes from good roots..I would never consider going with anyone else on a fishing charter given the option to fish with Captain Garcia. Side note: If you like country music, this might be your guy.
