What an incredible fishing experience with Captain Abdulla aboard the Black Pearl! From the moment we set off, it was clear we were in expert hands. The trip was packed with non-stop action and great variety — we fished multiple styles including jigging, casting, popping, and trolling, ending the day with 7 fish landed. We had our heart-pounding moments too — a wahoo that got away, and a grouper snatched right off the line by a shark at the last second. The kind of stories you'll be telling for years! Captain Abdulla was knowledgeable, patient, and truly passionate about his craft. He even stayed an extra hour past schedule to get us one more fish, and we were rewarded with a breathtaking sunset on the way back — the perfect ending to an amazing day. If you're looking for a fishing trip with real action and a captain who goes the extra mile, look no further. We'll absolutely be back!

I booked two days on the black pearl to try a variety of different types of fishing for different fish. The skipper and crew worked so hard for me to have my dream fishing trip come true. The shipper move so many times to put us on the fish, we had some amazing fish from small tuna, Trevally, Ruby Snapper and some massive groupers. He cooked freshly caught fish for us on the first day which was amazing, then on the second day the skipper arrange to collect some food from his friends from a local island, this was incredible and we ate it while the sun set. All in all it was the most amazing trip and a dream come true, will 100% book with theese guys again when we return. Thanks again guys🙌👍

The Crew was great. The Communications at the Days before was perfekt. Captain Abdullah explained all the Atolls and Fishes exactly. It was a great Day and a nice Experience. Thank you

I can’t say enough about black pearl sports fishing except to book them. My boyfriend is an avid hunter and fisherman so when we traveled to the Maldives I wanted to plan a special day. Abdulla went above and beyond to make it exceptional. He planned several surprises for us, brought along snacks/drinks and more importantly his expertise in finding our dream fish. Fishing is a sport of luck but having the right team with the knowledge and proper equipment go a long way. Thank you both for making my boyfriend’s dreams come true. When I’m back I will definitely only book with you. A million thanks I am forever grateful.

Black pearl was a great experience. Skipper had a great English knowledge of the local area and just got it from the get go. The boat was in immaculate condition a great size. The equipment was all preloaded for what I was targeting, in this case was GT and snapper. Are used several boats over my stay in the Maldives and the Black pearl was the strongest by far, although slightly more expensive than the other two I would happily play this every time to get access to the knowledge and approach that the Black pearl offered. Would be more than happy to book again, thank you Captain!!!

I’ve contacted Abdullah to try to catch a Marlin in Maldives as this is almost the good season. We went outside for 7 hours and he tried to catch live bait before our fishing trip. I had a really great time on the sea, had a lot of fun doing casting fishing on the reef (caught 6/7 fishes) the we’ve catched a beautiful wahoo with the hand line, a new technique for me! We’ve even visited a sandbar. I would recommend Abu as he does his best to accomodate your request, got a large selection of drinks and the boat is safe and clean. And he catched fish 😃 thanks! Super friendly and knowledgeable. Kids had a great time and reeled in a rainbow runner, 4 bluefin tuna and 2 trevalli . Went onto a sandbank to play which was magical and saw dolphins and a baby shark. The boat was stocked with ice, cold drinks and sandwiches. I will definitely book again ❤️

Abdulla picked me up from Meedhupparu which was 50 minutes for him. We did some trolling which was not productive. We caught several bonito and blue trevelly casting lures and then caught some trigger fish whilst bait fishing. Weather was great. Skipper was great. We stayed out an extra two hours just for fun. Great day!!!

Captain Abdulla is friendly, helpful and has a good fishing setup suitable for jigging, casting and trolling. However the boat is small and when the weather is not good which is not uncommon in the Maldives it can be quite rocky and uncomfortable specifically with no proper shaded area. My advice would be to go out on a good day, I’m sure the experience will be well worth it.
