Welcome to My Special “K” Charters, your premier choice for an exceptional fishing experience based in Howard Beach, Queens, NY.

Our prime location at 160th Ave and Cross Bay Blvd serves as the launching point for our adventures. Embarking on our 27’ Boston Whaler 270 Vantage, you’ll find a vessel that epitomizes safety, reliability, and comfort. Powered by twin 225-horsepower Mercury outboard motors, our boat guarantees swift and smooth transit to and from your chosen destination.

With a capacity to accommodate up to 4 passengers, our charter specializes in the art of bottom fishing in the tranquil, sheltered waters of Jamaica Bay, New York. Our services are tailored to cater to fishing enthusiasts of all levels, especially those new to the sport. Your seasoned Captain boasts over 40 years of experience navigating these waters and is well-versed in catching the diverse array of in-season species that populate the bay.

For your convenience, we provide all necessary bait and tackle to facilitate your angling pursuits. Depending on the prevailing weather conditions and the specific season, you’ll have the chance to target Fluke, Scup, Sea Bass, Bluefish, or Weakfish. While we encourage catch and release for conservation, you’re more than welcome to retain any legally caught fish. Our team will expertly fillet your catches at the dock, allowing you to take home the fruits of your labor.

Our vessel offers moderate bathroom facilities that are comfortable for women and children. While we provide drinking water, we kindly ask you to bring your own beverages (no hard liquor, only canned drinks) and food.

For your comfort and safety, we recommend keeping carry-on items to a minimum. A small cooler containing your trip’s essentials will be permitted.
Prior to embarking on your journey, please take a moment to read and understand our Liability Release Form / Charter Agreement. This form is required to be signed by all parties on the day of the charter.
