You’ll target your catch by trolling primarily or something more specialized in certain areas depending on what type of fish you’re after.

Capt. Jon believes in teaching kids to fish while they’re young, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to keep up those energy levels!

You’ll be dropping lines from a 20’ Legend with a capacity for 3 passengers. It comes with downriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Just bring a cooler for your catch if you want to keep it.

Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Some essentials to bring are a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is not allowed.
