La Dueña 

There’s a fish with your name on it in Cabo San Lucas and La Dueña will help you catch it! Your guide for the day is Captain Felipe, bringing aboard years of knowledge and experience.

These waters are known for Black Marlin, Striped Marlin, Blue Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Skipjack Tuna, Wahoo, Sailfish, and more – with any luck, it won’t be long before "Fish on!" On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!

You’ll be dropping lines from a 31’ sportfishing vessel with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Felipe has rods and reels for you, as well as lures.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don’t leave home without bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
