If you’re ready to try fishing in Cabo San Lucas, book a trip with Fishing4Cabo. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Adrian knows them forwards and back.
Species like Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Sailfish, Striped Marlin, Yellowtail Snapper, Blue Marlin, Roosterfish, Bluefin Tuna, Sierra Mackerel, Black Marlin, and more could be biting if you cast your line at the right time of year. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Adrian also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Your excursion begins aboard a 30’ sportfishing vessel with room for 5 passengers. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Before coming aboard, you may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don’t forget to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Fishing4Cabo.
