These waters are known for Striped Bass, Catfish, Crab, White Perch, and more – with any luck, it won’t be long before "Fish on!" For these species, you’re likely to troll, live line and/or bottom fish using light tackle.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Children are absolutely welcome and we love having the kiddos on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
You’ll be fishing aboard a spacious 41’ Gene Travers Downeast with space for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is provided but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 20% tip is customary.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Our group of 4 guys headed out with Capt Gus & Mate Chuck on the Ditch Hag Sportfishing charter boat for a 6hr trip and could not ask for a better time! From the time we left the dock until we stepped foot back on land the service and fishing was excellent! We’ve decided to make this trip an annual trip and we’re excited for our next trip on Ditch Hag Sportfishing! Highly recommend!

1st Charter experience, and it was a great experience... Captain and Chuck were awesome... We all (6) were able catch fish... After docking fish was cleaned and packed up for us to take home would highly recommend! and will be making this a yearly family trip!

Our trip with captain Gus was amazing. We were catching fish right away and the first mate, Chuck, worked hard to make sure we were having the best possible chance to land our fish. Would highly recommend. Both were very friendly

Captain and mate were awesome. We caught our limit of rockfish and then went after catfish and perch. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants a fun day of fishing with a crew who knows their craft well.

while it was a hot day in Baltimore, we had a great time on the water. The captain put us on the fish and we caught our limit of rock fish and ended the day catching catfish and perch.
Brent and his family braved the heat this afternoon to catch a limit of Rockfish, a few cats and a few perch.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
