Finnaholic Fishing Charters is a family owned business, with a father and son duo at the helm, both born and raised on the water. This duo comes from a long line of boat builders and fishermen. The Williams' captains are commercial fishermen, dropping lines and catching fish anywhere in the Chesapeake Bay.
The boat you'll be fishing from is a 35' Markley, built by none other than the legend himself, Capt. Tyler's grandfather, The Boss, Captain Ben Markley. This vessel, both a fishing machine and a piece of art, accommodates up to 6 guests and there's enough room for everyone to fish at the same time. She's powered by a mighty 435 HP Caterpillar engine, has a private toilet, and an air-conditioned cabin with a bed.
Capt. Tyler will meet you at 5:30 sharp to head out offshore. Finding a great fishing spot is different on each trip so it can take anywhere from 1–2.5 hours to drop the anchor. You'll be trolling, bottom fishing, and using light tackle. Your main catch for the day will be Striped Bass (Rockfish) but in freshwater, you can also reel in Catfish and White Perch.
The captain will provide your fishing equipment, lures, and have live bait ready before the trip. After the trip, he'll clean your catch free of charge. Bring your snacks and drinks for the day. A camera is always a great idea!
Finnaholic Fishing Charters runs trips only during the weekends. Make sure to book your spot on time!

We had a fantastic Father’s Day fishing trip aboard Finaholic with my three adult children. It was a beautiful day on the water, and we could not have been more impressed with Captain Tyler and his dad, who made up the crew. From the beginning, it was clear that they were committed to putting us on fish. They were aggressive in the best possible way — constantly working, moving, watching the fish finder, and taking us out to known spots where they believed we would have success. There was never any sense that they were trying to preserve fuel or take the easy route. They worked hard all day to make sure we had a great experience. It was also obvious that Captain Tyler and his dad knew where to find fish. Other boats often seemed to follow our boat because Finaholic clearly had the right spots dialed in. And find fish we did. We caught a massive catfish and several large rockfish. One of the highlights of the day was watching my daughter, who is a complete novice, catch her first rockfish. Unfortunately, it measured 29 inches and had to be released, but she has great photos and even better memories. Captain Tyler and his dad were very personable, patient, professional, and committed to making sure we enjoyed ourselves and caught fish. It made for an extremely memorable Father’s Day. I highly recommend Finaholic to anyone looking for a first-class fishing charter experience. The next time we are looking to book a fishing charter, Finaholic will be our first call.
First off i have to say these guys know fishing! My wife and i booked the trip with Captain Tyler as an end of summer trip for the kids before they went back to school and they loved every minute of it! None stop action after the awesome sun rise and boat ride out. Not a lot of charter guys will put the time in to work with kids to make sure that they aren’t missing out on the action of the fishing! And we greatly appreciated that! These guys made sure we stayed on the fish until we got our limit! We can’t wait to take them again in October!! Highly recommend Captain Tyler and Finnaholic Charter!!
I can't say enough about the great time that we had with Captain Tyler & his dad. Myself, my sister & her son are novice when it comes to fishing. My Dad was up from Florida for his 70th bday weekend & he fishes often. Captain Tyler & his dad had us all catching fish easily. Even to the point my sister caught the biggest fish of the day! I would highly recommend them & looking forward to another trip down the line.
The captain and crew were super nice and helpful! Everything went well. Would recommend this company! Very responsive to my concerns too!
limited out on rockfish, threw back 3 smaller and one oversize but brought back 7 and 2 white perch
Tyler is the captain of this boat. He's been fishing for 26 years and has had his license for 4 years. He enjoys the excitement of fishing, seeing people catch fish for the first time. He's happy when they leave with their lunch in hand. That's why his favorite anglers are kids and novice anglers. This is a family business and he runs the charter with his father.
